General Description
The CE is designed for use in large tanks or vessel where the FE series can not be used due to the limitation of electrode length. Used in conjunction with one or more RE7000 relays, the CE can reliably detect up to 6 separate levels in tanks up to 20 meter deep. The PVC body, the PVC cable, and selectable electrodes are compatible with a wide range of liquids. The material of electrode is selected from 316SS, NW0001,0665, NW0276, and Titanium for the chemical compatibility. If necessary, alternative SCM cable is
available.
Operational Description
When the tips of electrode are touched by the conductive liquids, the current is passed between electrodes. When the liquid level is decreased from the point of electrodes, the current is not passed between electrodes. The relay is opened or closed by the block or unblock of current.
Application
The CE series can be used in any suitable conductive liquids. Applications involve both alarm point detection and pump valve control. Since the CE series contain no moving parts, it is very reliable and can be used in tanks where mixers or other moving equipment would damage ordinary float sensor or other level detector. The CE series
consist of cable, body, and electrode, and electrode is electrically insulated by the cable and body. Therefore, CE can be installed at the slop wall and through the pipe.
